Through generous funding from many community partners, Child Care Network's Family Support Programs have been in our community for over thirty years. The Family Support Program provides HUD income eligible parents with financial assistance for their child care costs so that they may access licensed, quality child care programs. This assistance helps families acheive their ultimate goal of self-sufficiency. In turn, their children are able to experience high quality early care and learning that is stable, safe and nurturing, making them better prepared for school and life.
Family Support Programs help low income parents in several situations. We can help qualifying parents who:
- are working.
- going to school.
- in crisis situations, such as domestic violence or homelessness.
- who have just lost their jobs and are seeking employment.
- grandparents raising grandchildren.
In addition to financial assistance, each of our Family Support Specialists provides parents with a multitude of case management services ranging from referrals to licensed child care sites to finding assistance with food, rent, family counseling and other identified needs.
