Family Support Program

The Family Support Program (FSP) provides child care scholarships for families who need help paying for child care. Through these scholarships, children access safe and nurturing high-quality early learning programs that prepare them for success in Kindergarten and beyond. The scholarships also lessen the financial burden associated with the cost of child care, so that parents are able to achieve stability while working toward financial independence.

The Family Support Program assists families who are:
-working
-in a job training program
-seeking employment
-going to school
-experiencing a life-crisis situation, such as domestic violence or homelessness
-grandparents raising grandchildren

The Family Support Program may provide scholarship assistance to children ages 0-14 who are in need of early learning and care programs, before and after school care and care throughout the summer months. Child care programs providing these services must be licensed in the State of Michigan and participating in Great Start to Quality or nationally accredited.

We are incredibly grateful for the generous funders who make this program possible!

I am grateful for the support Child Care Network’s Family Support Program has provided. The program has helped me pursue academic achievements and milestones in safe, nurturing environments and allowed me the freedom to accomplish all the things I wanted to do for my family and myself over the past two years.
