Family Support Program
The Child Care Network Family Support Program (FSP) provides scholarships to help families pay for child care.
Eligible Families:
Must be working, going to school, attending a job training program, seeking employment, experiencing a life-crisis situation, or grandparents raising grandchildren.
Must have children ages birth-14 years.
Must meet income guidelines. These vary based on funding requirements, all who need assistance are encouraged to apply.
Steps to apply:
1. Complete the interest form. This will automatically place you on our waitlist.
*please note that we serve Southeast Michigan and we are not the chain of child care centers serving the southern states.
**Due to the holiday season- with office closures and staff time off- there will likely be a delay in responding to calls, emails, and the Interest Form. We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving you when we are fully staffed on January 6th.
2. We will call you. Once we reach your name on our waitlist, we will reach out to you directly.
Wait time depends on the status of our funding, our current caseload, and how many families are ahead of you on our waitlist. The average wait time to hear back from us is 10 business days.
3. If you are eligible to apply for our program, we will send you a copy of our full application to complete for consideration. Your identified Family Support Program Specialist will walk you through the remainder of the process. Please note that once your full application and documentation is received, it can take up to 2 weeks to process.
